A tournament with tradition and heart

On July 1st, the Drachenwand Golf Club in Mondsee, Salzburg, welcomed a plethora of golf enthusiasts. The annual "Golfing with Heart" tournament was underway, and as in every year, the focus was not just on the joy of the sport, but also on a noble cause.

A Tournament with Tradition and Heart

This year's tournament was a resounding success! We managed to raise an incredible €44,999 for children in need battling cancer. Such a magnificent result wouldn't have been possible without the relentless support of all involved.

Captura Corporate Group has long been a faithful partner of this tournament. For the seventh consecutive year, they dedicated their efforts to this valuable cause. The company's proxy and Charity Manager, Ernst Lieber, who has overseen the past seven tournaments in Mondsee, couldn't be prouder: "Over these seven years, we've managed to accumulate a staggering €230,000 for the good cause."

The Tournament by Numbers

60 dedicated golfers showcased their skills this year. Under perfect golfing weather, they engaged in thrilling competitions. The diversity of participants was truly noteworthy: from a budding 16-year-old talent to an 86-year-old golf veteran, there was representation from all ages. This broad spectrum signifies the widespread appreciation and support the tournament enjoys across age groups.

An Event that Connects

Ernst Lieber was visibly impressed by the community spirit and the willingness to donate: "It's always inspiring to witness people come together for a noble cause. Together, we can achieve so much."

To wrap up the day, the award ceremony and check presentation took center stage. Amidst the cheering crowds, the winners were celebrated. And thanks to DJ Freddy, the conclusion of the tournament turned into a lively celebration.

A Conclusion Full of Gratitude

"Golfing with Heart" in Mondsee is more than just a sports event. It's a symbol of solidarity that demonstrates how sport and charity can seamlessly intertwine.
